My name is Bärbel and I am currently a postgraduate student in the European Master in Migration and Intercultural Relations (EMMIR) in the second semester. African Summer School, as a great opportunity of meeting point for young people of Italian and various African countries’ origin, has once more shown how enriching the diversity of today’s society is. Migration and forms of co-existence have to be addressed to be able to live unity in diversity. African Summer School has contributed to a broader understanding of the dynamics between Africa and the Western world.
